I Found it in My Classroom

Last week was our first parent/teacher conference. Both girls are doing really well and enjoy school so much. I am amazed at how enthusiastic they are about school and how much they are both learning. The teachers are both wonderful and truly care about the girls. I am so thankful that each girl got placed with the perfect teacher for her.
Sarah's teacher, Mrs. Reichert is so loving and always looking for an opportunity to learn something new. As we were leaving Sarah's conference, Sarah noticed a dead moth in the hallway. Her teacher helped her place it in a Ziploc baggie so she could take it home and study it under a magnifying lens. Sarah did just that. She looked at the moth and noticed that there were stripes on the body and it had wings and 2 antennae. She drew a picture of it and wrote a sentence about it, all on her own.
